(May 16, 2024) – Valiant Solutions, LLC (Valiant) is thrilled to announce its award of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards (OAQPS) IT Support contract. This contract is valued at $98M and will cover a period of performance of five years, with one base year plus four option years. 

Valiant will provide an Integrated Development Team to perform system hosting, software enhancements, operations, maintenance, new system development, process improvement activities and user support across EPA OAQPS’ Ambient Air Systems, Emissions Systems and Regulatory Applications.  

Valiant’s work will support EPA's focus of improving  air quality by collecting and safeguarding air pollution data for analysis by multiple stakeholders like climate scientists, environmental justice organizations, universities, federal agency partners and the public at large. These critical EPA OAQPS FISMA systems that we will support assist stakeholders in developing regulations, recommendations, and best practices to limit and reduce air pollution. Looking to the future, Valiant anticipates defining and developing a new unified architecture to accept, assure, store, and disseminate EPA air data efficiently, employing modern technologies. This initiative aims to replace the current portfolio of legacy air data systems utilized by the EPA.
