Valiant Solutions Named Prime Awardee of IT Security Contract by Department of Commerce
Valiant Solutions has been awarded a five-year contract by the United States Department of Commerce (DOC) to provide Cybersecurity services to protect mission-critical programs for the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA). "Valiant is honored to have this opportunity to support NTIA in its mission to expand and evolve access to and usage of the Internet across the United States," said Valiant CEO, Matt Raydo.NTIA is responsible for developing and advocating public policies on telecommunications, Internet access, usage, and safety, and wireless spectrum management to DOC, other Executive Branch agencies, and the President. NTIA also administers a State and Local grant program designed to provide Internet access to remote locations across the country.“We are committed to strengthening this partnership and to bringing our advanced cyber technologies and services to NTIA. Our goal is to enhance NTIA's mission assurance and resiliency while investing in both innovative technology and cyber talent, said Raydo. Valiant will provide the day-to-day security and operational requirements in support of NTIA including intrusion detection, incident response and reporting, vulnerability scanning, risk assessments, security awareness training, FISMA compliance support for certification and accreditation, plans and procedures to ensure continuity of operations, and support for engineering secure solutions to ensure compliance with all applicable Federal laws and regulations.
